Sometimes you work with people who are just coworkers and then some of those people become family, that’s exactly what it was like at the radio station Nicole Quitasol and I worked at for so many years in Stockton, Ca. I have some unforgettable memories from those days. Eventually at different times we both left that radio station to pursue our dreams in this beautiful city San Diego.
Tragically Nicole, her 2 Sisters, Father and Step Mother were on the Conception boat that caught fire off the coast of Santa Cruz Island this past Labor Day weekend. When I heard about the story I never would have thought I knew someone on the boat but as the stories began to come in more and more that’s when it became clear to me that my friend was too on that boat.
Nicole was a one of a kind who was so loved and will be missed by so many. To Nicole’s family and Mother, I can’t imagine the pain you are all in and all I can say is I’m extremely sorry for your devastating loss, you are all in my prayers.
