The Fourth of July is always fun along San Diego's beaches, but the remnants of the holiday can put anyone off a trip to the beach!

That's where the Surfrider Foundation and San Diego Coastkeeper come in.

This year, their 'Morning After Mess' cleanup on July 5th once again netted hundreds of pounds of trash along San Diego's beaches and Mission Bay.

Joining the cleanup again this year were the staffs of the Entercom San Diego stations - 103.7 KSON, ALT949, KyXy 96.5, Sunny 98.1, Bob Radio and 973 The Fan.  The group descended on Ocean Beach to help the clean up efforts.

Check out the video below and remember that every day at the beach is another chance to make sure San Diego's beautiful beaches stay clear of bottles, cans, other trash - and the most toxic trash of all - cigarette butts!
