We have been teased about a Roscoe's coming to San Diego for over three years now, they even put up a sign in Barrio Logan at one point before filing Chapter 11 and putting expansion plans on hiatus: 
But according to San Diego Village the company is now in the final stages of approvals to open in Barrio Logan and if all goes as planned, Roscoe's may be dishing out its famed fried chicken by year's end. The new location will be at the corner of National Avenue and Sigsbee street. Currently there are 4 buildings there that would be demolished to build a two story site with office space above. The project will either be confirmed or denied on April 17 by the City of San Diego Development Services Department. If given the green light San Diego residents could be feasting on chicken and waffles by late 2019 or early 2020.
