Details from the 'Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge' are starting to get released!!!!  Select media outlets got a behind-the-scenes of the new land and the reports are incredible. The entire land will be a part of the Star Wars universe, meaning it will be completely immersive. You'll be able to do everything from haggle with a Black Spire Outpost merchant, ordering a cup of Bantha milk to picking out your own lightsaber with a Jedi sympathizer. Here are a couple of our favorite details that are making us super excited:
  • - The land will utilize the new Disney Play app allowing guests to unlock secrets around Galaxy's Edge and translate the native language. What blew our mind was the way it will allow guests to interact with cast members. For example, you could walk off the "Smuggler's Run" ride (a chose your own adventure type ride) and because of the app a cast member may ask you about your adventure siting specific things that happened during the ride. "You're the ones that destroyed the Millennium Falcon!" So cool!
  • - You may go broke because the merchandise is OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! Kids are going to love the making their own droid at the Droid Depot similar to Build-a-Bear. Jedi and Sith fans will be able to find antiques of historical figures and events. Plus, you'll be able to get your own Jedi and Sith robes that you can wear around the park (adults have been not allowed to wear costumes around the park up until this point). The best part is that all the items will only be available in Galaxy's Edge!
  • - After years of wishing you could see the Millennium Falcon in person, those dreams will be coming true! The iconic ship will be the center piece of the town square and you may even catch Chewbacca walking around the ship fixing various parts.
  • - Also, there will be booze! Up until this point the only place you could get alcohol in the park was if you were lucky enough to get into Club 33. Now a selection of specialty drinks will be available at Oga’s Cantina. And while you're there, make sure to look out for the DJ.... he's a familiar face!
